Members enjoy guaranteed, low, pre-set fees on most dental work. The Sandia Plan eliminates the hassles of deductibles, claim forms and prior authorization requirements of traditional insurance.
Are you looking for an individual dental plan?
There are more than 740 dental procedures listed on the Sandia Plan Fee Schedule. This includes common procedures for basic, preventative, and restorative dental care. Complex dental care procedures such as oral surgery, treatment for gum disease, dentures, and even services for the growing practice of dental implantation are included.
PLAN FEATURES
The Sandia Plan is NOT traditional insurance.
There are no claim forms, coinsurance, or plan maximums. There are no exclusions for pre-existing conditions or waiting periods for prior authorization. Members simply pay pre-set fees for dental services listed on the Sandia Plan Fee Schedule at the time of service.
Beginning June 16, 2025, the Sandia Plan will be administered by Careington International located in Fresno, Texas. All membership payments made by check should be made to “Careington Operations”. All bank and credit card statements will show the transaction for payment as “Careington Internation”.

How to Enroll
Download, complete, and mail your Application Form to the addressed listed. Once received and processed, your membership will become effective the first of the month for applications received prior to the 15th of every month, or the first of the following month for applications received the 16th or later.
A New Member Kit with an ID Card will be provided upon enrollment. You must indicate on the Enrollment and Authorization Form your preference, to receive a New Member Kit electronically, an E-Kit, or a paper kit mailed to your address. If an E-Kit is selected be sure to include an active email address on the Enrollment Form.
A one-time processing fee of $5 is included for new enrollments. This will show up on the initial monthly payment but not subsequent monthly payments. If paying annually, it will be included as a $5 fee in the annual payment.
On-line enrollment is coming soon! For now, follow the instructions listed to enroll with the Enrollment Authorization Form. If calling Careington to enroll via telephone, there is a $5 fee added to the transaction.
